Convention Center in Elche

The project proposes a Congress Centre in Elche, Spain, developed in response to the International Architectural Competition for the new Palacio de Congresos, whose winning proposal was announced in December 2025. The building is organized around three conference halls, including a main auditorium with a capacity of approximately 5,000 people.

The project is conceived as a continuous architectural promenade, connecting the different programs through a sequence of terraces, exhibition spaces, and foyers. At its centre, a large open-air hall becomes the main civic space, blurring the boundary between interior and exterior and creating a place for gathering and public activity.

Through the relationship between movement, landscape, and collective spaces, the project seeks to establish a new urban landmark for Elche, integrating culture and public life within a continuous architectural experience.
